So many things happened

Last time I put up a news message was when my wife was pregnant, and I could see my child using ultrasound.

Today, it has been a month ago that my wife gave birth to a beautiful son. Now all that is left is teach him how to program and play Dune II ;)

More seriously, I'm working on my thesis. The end is near of my study and that means the end of a very busy period. What I may do next is unclear, but it is evident that I can work on D2TM again. I was wondering though how many of you would bother if it was written in Java... Let me know! Just curious.
Did you know?

A very busy time for me. Last time I mentioned that my wife is pregnant. Recently I have seen my child using ultrasound and some sort of 3D imaging technique with it. Very nice to see. Can't wait!

Also, thanks a lot for all the kind feedback I am recieving about Dune II - The Maker. Really makes me know you all still play it and I should keep the spirit to finish it. Don't worry, I will...

One person asked me if it was possible to have the same music as in the old days, you know with your adlib music. I had a soundblaster 16 bit in those days and I remembered the sound effects as if it was yesterday. Really love it. But guess what, you can have that too with D2TM. And all you need to do is download the correct ZIP file.

D2TM supports a music add-on. You know, when you run the game you see the word 'MIDI' at the menu? It is at the bottom. That basically means "no add-on found, using the midi files". Because the add-on uses MP3's , it would mean that D2TM would become a 50MB download just because of the music. I don't think that is a very good idea.

If you want to use the music add-ons. Just simply download the ZIP file and unzip the contents (2 sub-dirs) into the game directory. After that launch the game. Where first "MIDI" was displayed, it should now say "MP3".

You can download the add-ons from the Downloads/Miscelaneous section.
