I have sold my macbook.
So thats it. No more macbook. No more fiddling with Mac OS X. Don't
take it wrong. I like the OS, but i was just too busy finding
alternatives for Windows and, trying to get my Windows based projects
to work on other platforms.
I figured, that platform compatibility is not my main requirement for my projects.
So what happened. Simple. Sold macbook, bought a new (and better)
laptop with that money. You heard that right. I haven't added one cent
to the budget. Meaning, a 2nd hand laptop from Apple brings enough
money to buy a NEW non-Apple laptop that has better specs than the
Macbook. Do mind it is NOT the macbook PRO.
So welcome Toshiba, Windows XP (yeah, i got rid of Vista right away , yuck!).
And now i am playing around with Dune II - The Maker and project Shai Hulud.
Dune II - The Maker has undergone some changes, serious changes i must say, but they broke up the code. Delivered a non-working version and i can't remember what the heck has changed. So , thanks to subversion i am going back in time, fetch an older version and start from there.
The MME layer will not be in D2TM. It is not a requirement for that. What was i thinking.
So anyway, keep an eye to the SVN of D2TM. It will change soon.
